APPLY TO SPEAK
Thank you for your interest in presenting at one of our Health 2.0 events! Please note that this form is for those interested in DEMOING (vs. speaker/panelist spots). Speakers/panelists/commentators are almost exclusively hand-curated by the Health 2.0 production team. If you have a compelling and innovative Health 2.0 product or service, and want to tell us about it, please read ALL of the information below.
Live technology demos are a major hallmark of Health 2.0 events — and we do mean LIVE – no PowerPoint or video allowed! Sometimes demos are standalone, but they’re often interspersed into larger panel sessions with commentators reflecting on the demo and how they believe it fits into health care.
We review submissions on a first-come, first-serve basis. Demo slots are filled based on the story that we’re trying to tell with each session and event. We select demos several months before the event, so do not delay. If you’re uncertain that your product will be completely ready at the time of the conference, let us know of your interest anyway – we like to know what’s going on in the community, and it’s not unusual for us to show products in early stages, too!
With the exception of clearly delineated “sponsored deep dives,” which are not on the main schedule, we are not a pay-for-play conference. It may be hubris, but we think that we know a fair bit about the space and hope that our choices provide some “value-add.” So please do not contact us asking to sponsor a panel, so you can speak on it. Sponsorship and speaking are on different sides of a church/state divide at Health 2.0.
Applications for the 11th Annual Fall Conference are available here. Applications are due June 30, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. PST.
PLEASE BE AWARE OF OUR APPLICATION TIMELINE AND PROCESS:
If our team is interested in seeing a demo preview you will be emailed and we’ll arrange a 30 minute virtual demo via screen-share. After your preview our team will decide if your product fits our event criteria and narrative. Demos selected for the stage are ran through a strict (but fun!) virtual rehearsal process with our production team. Applicants can expect a response either way around a month before the event.
If you have applied and have questions about your application status, or have something new to share with the production team about your product, email Emily Hagerman, email@example.com.
